Dr Scott will regularly be on hand to answer our customer's pet health and nutrition questions as well as help you understand what makes Barking Heads products the perfect choice for your pet. Born in Brisbane, Australia, to British parents, Scott studied at the University of Queensland Veterinary School. Graduating in 1997, he began his veterinary career working at the largest animal hospital in Australia, the RSPCA clinic in Sydney, which at the time was the home of TV series 'Animal Hospital'. After a year's experience treating all creatures great and small, he ventured to the UK, working all over the British Isles before settling in London.
Scott is currently the resident Vet on ITV flagship show, This Morning, giving advice to viewers in the studio and presenting live and recorded animal items from all around the UK and internationally. With a 20-year broadcasting career, Scott is a regular face on many UK channels including BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky. His own programme for More4, Vet on the Hill, filmed at his practice in Richmond, South-west London, has been broadcast around the world in almost 30 countries and dubbed in seven different languages.
He is a keen writer, contributing regularly to broadsheets and magazines, having also written Puppy Parenting, a guide of what to do and when to do it when caring for puppies.Scott is married to Zoe and proud father of three daughters, a son and a dog called Skully. With 23 years-experience as a practicing clinical Veterinary Surgeon, he is the owner and principal veterinarian at three veterinary practices in SW London, located in Richmond, St Margaret’s and Old Isleworth.
