So first of all I'd like to point out that all my dogs LOVE Barking Heads. I've fed this food on and off for many years, and even when I've been daft enough to try something new, we've always returned to BH's.
But I do have a problem with the new "Little Paws" range. One of my dogs has 22 teeth. Not enough to chew regular sized kibble, but she still tries to. I have been feeding her little paws kibble successfully and she's been very satisfied. Well, until recently when the Doggylicious Duck turned into Little Paws Fuss Pot. Sadly the small pieces are the same size as regular pieces, and Wallis can't manage them. On several occasions since the change, she's got the kibble wedged between her cheek and her gum (where her teeth should be) and they've become impacted like a hamster pouch. I'm now having to source all the last of the original "tiny pieces" bags whilst I can.
I've attached a photo of the size difference. The first piece is the new Little Paws, the second piece is the old Little Paws, and the third is a regular piece of BH kibble. I won't attached a photo of Wallis's face, as it's a very frustrated one right now!
